Day 2 – Where you’d like to be in 10 years

– In ten years, I hope to have made my first million dollars. I know it sounds impossible but I know that with hard work and dedication, I can actually do it.

– In 5 years, I’d like to start a new venture and open up a bakery/café somewhere in downtown Toronto. I really have to look into that more though before I decide when the right time would be.

I have more goals but I’ll go into them after I’ve gotten them all organized!

Life Changing

What was the one experience that completely changed your life? What happened? How did it change your life?

Honestly, I think MAIC2013 was the experience that changed my life up to this point. It made me realize that I’ve had it easy and that I need to stop being childish and that I need to grow up and become less of a spoiled child. I always thought that I had it bad and though I don’t like comparing my situation to others, I couldn’t help but do so this weekend. I learned that complaining won’t get me where I need to be and that I need to suck it up, make a plan and get it done.

I also learned that though my intentions in the beginning weren’t absolutely selfish, I did focus on myself and now more than ever, I’d like to be able to help out my family with their problems.

I’ve already posted something similar to this but I wanted to say it again. This trip was amazing and I learned so much from it. I don’t regret it at all and I’m so grateful to everyone who pushed me to go and also those who shared their stories and everything that happened. Because of this weekend I’ve vowed to become a better person and to make a difference in at least one person’s life. If at least one person comes to me and tells me that I changed their life then I know I’m doing the right thing.

And though it’ll be a long process, I know for a fact that it will happen and I’d be honoured to have you along for the journey.
